Orchus Should Win More Races

(From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Auckland Rep.) When trained at Ellerslie, Grchus always gave out hope that he would win races. UE, however, proved anything but a ** payable proposition. But now it appears different. His forward showing at Takapuna, where one win' and a third were registered, m as many starts, indicates that he is on the .upgrade with a bit of age. Possibly before the years tell their tale properly the brother of Ruffles may be expected to gather m a few more races for Dan Tye. But he does not threaten to go far, though he ran 1.29 3/5 for seven when he won less than a fortnight back. He would probably have won m his last start had he not stumbled badly ns Keesing decided to make a real bid for the money.
