Efficient Sergeant
DUNEDIN, pride of the south, boasts — rightfully enough — one of the
most law-abiding communities m the Dominion; and part of the credit for this happy state of affairs must go to Sergeant McEntee, that capable officer who is known to all Dunedin as one of the most courteous "and popular officers m "the force."
McEntee, a fine specimen of a policeman, has risen from the ranks by devotion to duty and marked ability. With physical strength, he combines a tact and knowledge of the law, which, m the not too distant future, will undoubtedly push him up another rung on the ladder of promotion. lie stands no nonsense; yet the lawbreakers with whom he has dealt have respect for him which is really genuine. This fact alone ls sufficient proof that McEntee knows what's what.
