BUTTERFLIES

ARE you somewhat weary of the inevitable flower-posy that we wear at shoulder or at waist and are you tired of the jewelled pins that stab your hat? Well, here's an idea for you.

All the way from America a host of gay silk butterflies have fluttered on their little silken wings so that they i can perch on the brims of our small, close-fitting hats and, on the shoulders } of our summer fluffy frocks or dance i dresses. •• Butterflies that boast of every color i scheme that can be imagined. Pinks, mauves, greys, blacks, yelt lows, and bright scarlets are among . the colors that flash as wings on their r tiny bodies, which are made of soft p velvety chenille. 3 Their antennae consist of black silk T floss and a couple of tiny beads gleam for eyes. r A little patience, plus chenille scraps of silk and black floss, and you can r make your own gay butterflies, which t if bought m the stores would probably be rather costly novelties.
