It would seem that J. T. Jamie-

This mode of bringing his horses down to Takapuna each morning of the races proved a success. A lorry to accommodate three , horses abre isl was brought into us*. ' » . ■ It means a lot to a trainer like Jamieson with Mb big team. It is certain he will soon save the cost of the motor conveyance m the matter of transit and accommodation expenses. This applies no*, only at Takapuna, but also at Ellerslie and Avondale. With the improved roads up north, it will not be surprising to note other trainers following Jamieson's lead m the matter of motor transit for racehorses.
