HE RETIRES

Murray Goes Into

Business

Word has gone out that ex-light-weight champion Les Murray has docided to retire.

DETURNING from his trip round the world a couple of months backs Murray stated that he intended tp try out the shoulder which he injured during his fight with Jack Bernstein m the States.

He was hopeful of the wing being quite m order, but apparently it has not so proved.

Thus he is to go into retirement, but only as far as the ring is concerned.

He has left one business for another —that of telling the world that the English car is the best.

Mui'ray had a long and honorable association with the ring and it will disappoint many that he is not to be seen m action again.

He fought all that came this way and when he went to the States he was pitted against the ail-but champions. A good living boy he was a credit to the game and for, popularity few. had it on him. ,

Now he is, <as the Yanks say, a champion Mexican athlete, selling cars.
