OUT of the disintegration of the Reform party arises the nucleus of
a new organization m the' United New Zealand political party, with A. E. Davy as its Dominion organizer. During the last general election he marshalled the forces of Reform and was largely instrumental m that party returning to power with such an overwhelming' majority.
But it is an ill wind that blows nobody any good and now that Davy can no longer ally himself with the administrators of the present Government and be true to his own principles, the wider and more representative bodies of political thought m the Dominion have secured his services m welding- together m one united whole a party that seems assured of success.
