Going Strong
ARTHUR WALKER; publicity man, *"* of Dunedin, is one of those rare
individuals who know-how to adapt •themselves instantly to their -surroundings. As a consequence,. Walker fits m, very nicely, thank you, m the city of good Scots.
It is not so' long since Arthur left his native London behind him and stepped off a good ship at Well'jngto'n. During the voyage,* he forgot the traditions: of Mayfair and learned how to pronounce', faultlessly, such names as Waipukurau and Tuatapere.
To-day, we find him a r,eal, - red-hot Colonial, possessing a knowledge of this Dominion which many a New Zealander might very well envy. Walker possesses a cheerfulness and optimism all his own. His ability to turn the rebuffs of an unwilling: client into a really good joke has brought many a handsome -appropriation for advertising purposes. ; '
He is walking, talking proof of the truth of the' old adage which maintains that success conies to the man with a smile. -Vr ■' • \
