THERE'S a little lady at Riccarton called Eulalie that can scoot along some. She certainly is a fast filly. ' In, the Stewards' on Saturday she was the ' favorite — and she justified the backing.
On the extremo outer of the field, she must have shown terrific pace over
the early stages and although she was stoppingover the last fifty yards she had too mn c.h. to spare for the others. It was quite a change for the public to pick the right one m.

quite a number of years now it has been an outsider that took the prize.
