EVIDENTLY Harold Armstrong *■* is not held m very high esteem by his wife; indeed,' if he is the type of individual certain of her correspondence describes, he is a queer combination of physical freakishness and moral delinquency.

Owing to his failure to comply with a maintenance order for £1 a week issued last year m favor of his wife, Armstrong had to face Magistrate Hunt at Auckland.

'.. you humpty - backed. . . you sponge. . . you blackguard The privilege of being married to one who holds such an exalted opinion of his person and principles will cost Armstrong three months' imprisonment unless he complies with the current order and makes a further effort by paying 107- a week off the arrears of £36.
