The Wellington City Council hereby jives public notice that such Council proposes to borrow (by way of special loan within the meaning of the Local Bodies Loans Act 1926) the sum herein set out to be expended on the undertaking specified:— UNDERTAKING. rPAVING STREETS AND SURFACE SEALING STREETS, £201,000. The Council proposes to pledge a special rate of forty one hundredths of ft penny (40/100 d.) m the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Wellington as security for the said Loan of £201,000 and the interest and sinking fund thereon. In connection with the repayment of the said Loan It is proposed to establish a sinking fund of 5.646 per centum per annum on the amount raised. It is proposed that the above Special Loan shall be repayable at the expiration of a period of 13 years computed from the Ist day of March, 1928.
