TWO WOMEN AGREE
DO women suit as business partners? Difficult to tell, for, as yet there are so few women m trade — outside the distinctively feminine occupations—that it is easier for them to find a man as working partner than one of their own sex. Perhaps that is the real reason for the belief that women do not like to work with one another; so often there is not another one to work with. However, Mrs. Rowlatt and Mrs. Moore found each other out — and at a Labor men's meeting once testified: "Never the smallest quarrel." Both are well-known members of the Labor party m Auckland and organizers m the women's branch. Mrs. Rowlatt has also been a member of the women's social and political organization, while about two years ago she took a trip to South Africa, where she spoke at various women's meetings m Capetown and other centres.
