Stage Superstitions
TO whjstle in a dressing-room * is to court disaster. Green stockings are fatal. It is most unlucky to drop a comb. "Three Blind Mice" and Tosti's "Good« bye" are unlucky songs which should never be hummed, sung, or mentioned inside a theatre. Never leave soap in a dressing-room when you are with a touring show. It means you will never come back to that theatre.
