Irish Comedy
TWO celebrated J. C. Williamson artists, in the persons of Fink and Ayres make their debut at the Regent Theatre, Wellington, to-morrow (Friday), in a sensational skating turn. On a raised platform off the stage, these two speed merchants provide four minutes of thrills not likely to be experienced again. The terrific pace at which they travel only allows for a short turn, but into those few moments is crammed a whole evening's entertainment. "Built for laughs" is ab,out the only phrase that would aptly describe "The Callahans and the Murphys," Kathleen Norris' lilting romance of Irish life aa transferred to the screen by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the big picture included iri the Regent programme. From the opening battle of the Callahans and the Murphys until the final, the picturization is a series of comical combats and tangled tribulations. You will laugh as you never laughed before when you see this picture.
