Special return tickets to Trentham, including admission to Racecourse (2/-), available for use on day of iss.ue only, will be obtainable at Wellington, Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Petone, Ava, Woburn, Waterloo, and Lower Hutt on 22nd and 24th October. Fares.— Carriages 6h. 6d, Seated Wagons 4s. 6d. Special Race Trains for Trentham leave Wellington at frequent intervals on Saturday 22nd October from 10.0 a.m. until 10.57 a.m. and at 11.26 a.m. and on Monday, 24th October from 9.50 a.m. until 10.40 a.m. and at 11.15 and 11.26 a-m. Additional ordinary trains leave Wellington 11.50 a.m. (Saturday) 12.15 p.m. (both days), 1.20 p.m. (Saturday). For times of trains from suburban stations see handbills. Train leaving Palmerston North 6.58 a,m, arrives at Wellington (11.16 a.m.) in time for passengers to join the 11.26 a.m. Wellington- (Lambton) Trentham race train. Special train leaving Trentham 5.11 p.m. (Saturday), 4.33 p.m. (Monday), arrives Wellington (Lambton) in time for passengers to join 6.7 p.m. (Saturday), 5.40 p.m. Monday Wellington-Palmerston North train. Return Race Trains leave Trentham for Wellington on Saturday at intervals from 5.5 p.m. until 5.39 p.m. an'd on Monday at, intervals from 5.5 p.m. until 5.45 p.m. Additional ordinary trains, stopping where required leave Trentham 4.33 p.m. each day, 5.45 p.m. Saturday and 5.54 p.m. Monday. Race train leaving Trentham 5.39 p.m. Saturday and 5.45 p.m. Monday stops Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Petone and Lower Hutt. Other race trains stop only Lower Hutt and Petone. Usual 4.16 p.m. Wellington-Master-ton train leaves Trentham 5.27 p.m., Featherston 7.36, Carterton 8.12 p.m. Free passes, ordinary, season, tourist, and privilege tickets (Press reporters' tiokets excepted) will not be available by Race trains. Special Race trains will take passengers for and from Trentham only, and only Race tickets will toe available by these, trains. Special excursion tickets to Wellington, available for return until 31st October will be obtainable from Palmerston North-Pukerua Bay and intermediate stations on 21st and 22nd October and by morning trains on 24th October and from Masterton, Greytown, Mangaroa ,and intermediate stations on 21st and 22n>d October; also to Trentham from Masterton, Greytown, and Kaitoke by morning train only on 22nd and 24th October.
