Brash, the ■^v old Melbourne University oarsman, who screwed them up to such excellent; form for their Australian trip, they have made great strides and are at present right at the top of ., their form. ' i In defeating the Riverton four at the Otago Rowing Association's annual regatta jit Port Chalmers for the Edmond Shield, the Otago crew,. F. Brough (str.), J. Werges (3), C. J. Mc'Ara "(2), P. S. Anderson (bow) -leaped over the line , and pulled throughout with ease and precision to score a twolengths win. The time, 13min. 1 4/ssecs. for the two miles, w.ns very good.' The race was rowed m clinkers.
