QRASS should be green, and- that is an apt way to describe the actions of a two-year-old called Damaris. , A half-sister to Lysander is quite enough m her favor, ahd she lives up to the family record of ,galloping; . ' . y ; Still a horse has to know something about the business before it can win. and , though Damaris won the second day at Wanganui there is no gainsaying the fact that she is green. The first day she did not know what was wanted of her, and even on the second the odds were that she would be left at the jump away.
