COME time back Marlborough had a O notable citizen but he allowed himself to be cooped up m a small village where his natural enthusiasm was held m check. Even then his smiling personality had to, like murder, out, but the scope was too limited. -'. So he shifted to Wellington— to Clyde Quay to be precise — and now he is known as Lou. Smith — "that's me." Interested m everything that bears the brand of sport Lou. goes m at the deep end, and though he does not make a great splash that is only because he does his part of the business with such grace. •'/... Some day when they are calling the roll over and his name is reached he will come' up smiling. And his' first words /will be — "that's me."
