The entries for the Disposal Stakes, to be run on the 18-th inst. at Trentham include A.L., a New South Wales-bred mare hy Lancaster (Hotchkiss-Frailty) from Mamaku (Vanguard-Dancing Lass), a mare that competed with success m sprint races at Waitara, Egmont, Stratford, and other meetings on the West coast of this island a few seasons ago. A.L. is iv company with Alfalfa, a brown filly by Grafton— Korowai (by Hotchkiss— Mantilla), a successful performer m the Auckland district and winner of a steeplechase at Randwick. Korowai is full sister.; to Motor, who won the Rangitikei and Egmont Cups for Mr W. Davies. The horses named and some other lots will be submitted at auHion by Messrs W. H. Turnbull on the 2-1 th inst.
