CHARGE OF MURDER.
Sheridan, who is under arrest, will he 'charged with murder, and ,wi-ll- be brought before . the S.M.. .Court this ("Saturday-) morning,'- y."hen'<he will be further remanded. *."• " - An inquest is to be held on the deceased man at 11 o'clock this morning, and SherMan will be present. The police say that Sheridan was under the influence of liquor, at the time of his arrest. Shortly after he struck the alleged' blow, the accused was found sitijiiilg bieside the deiad;. man, and called for assistance, and also requested that a doctor should be sent for. The police, however, were called. It is further stated that only one Wow was struck by. Sheridan. Ise is alleged to have given McAnally a blow, a knock-out blow, on the jaw.
