DENIALS AND COUNTER CHARGES.
Mrs Wallace ■ denied the allegations concerning, her husband's'' -petition and citation, as elaborated m Mr Duffy's address ; arid alleged the boot was on the other foot. She averred that Wallace had misconducted' .himself with .a woman named Davenport .at /Lewishan-road, Windsor, and also' -.'": WITH- THE SAME WOMAN ; m the months" of February, March, and) April,' 1907, at Porter-stireet,, Pralirah'. .'Further, she alleged that oh or about the month's of December, 190 C, and -January and. February, •11)07, at the residence of Mrs Nicclson, Fleet-street, and • Napieivstreet, .Fitzroy, he had 'misconducted himself With one Oissie or Ohristobfil Rettie, Roller, or Allen. -Also that/on divers days m December, 1906 and between January and May, 1907;' he liad' had cpniieetion with a woman uTlkno wn to the, respondent at a house known f as Morley-place, at 'the corner; of Fifzroy-street and the Esplana<M St. Kilda. , The petitioner denied each and every one of the respondent's allegations. . The cp-respondei*t denied all the allegations of misconduct mad© against him. " ■ -
