JOCKEY JENKINS' JAUNT.
Charley's Crash.
The • well-known Bulls horseman, Charles Jenkins, had the misfortune to meet with an accident ,at his home early- this week. It appears that he was skylarking with some friends m his stables, when he fell on a scythe, With the result that he got a very nasty cut on the arm, which .necessitated medical attention, and he will 'toe required to rest for some weeks to com;e. It is very doubtful if he will be able to ride at the Wellington or Riccarton meetings, and if this turns out to be the case, George Price, who is at present m Sydney, will return to Wellington to do the riding of Jas. Prosser's team.
