", Wager."— The winner of the Light, 'Middle and Heavy-weight" English Amateur .Boxing Championships for 1905-6 and 1906-7. were as follows: Light-weight, Wells, who also, carried off the honours m 1904 J 's. He is expected, to win again this year. Middle-weight, 1905-6, J. W. H. T. Douglas, 190^-7, Muiido'ch. Douglas , lost on. a foul m. the second bout ; his opponent being Murdoch. The verdict gave rise tp some criticism. Both were from the ;Belsize 8.C.. There were only five competitors. Heavy-wei'giht.— F. Parkes (Polytechnic 8.C.) won > m both years, also m 1899^1900, .1901-2. and 1902-3. A. H. Homer won m 1904-5, and E. Dickson m , 1903-4. Parks is not a competitor this year; Blewden, the New Zealand representative, will be.acom^ petitor m the light-weight division this year. The championships are set down for this month. ■
