Sir,— Could you tell us what the health authorities of Wellington are doing with reference to -the fish business m Wellington- ? Some time ago there were* notices .sent to all the fish dealers that no fish was to be sent m bags anywhere. Coming over from Picton one day, last week the stench was something horrible. Surely the Health Department does not know its duty towards the public. Your paper should te\l it, for it seem;s that all the • other papers are afraid to protest.— l am, &c, PUBLIC HEALTH.
