TOWN HALL.

West's Pictures and the Bresdans. There is no questioning the amazing popularity of this clever and refined show. The people of New Zealand like it and prove their liking by their patronage. While showing at the Zibishun as you walked along the corridors of the Christchurch Exhibition you could constantly hear the remark 'that best value for money m the whole place was a visit to West's Pictures. In these days the Cinematograph is a popular educator and as demonstrated by West a very pleasing one at that. It has completely eclipsed the limelight view, which iii comparison with the Moving Picture is poor and practically obsolete as a means of showing the public m vivid form, the events which take place m their midst and away m the wide world, and the wondeirs of other lands. Although Mr West has such a great draw m his pictures, he does not solely rely on them, but associates with his own speciality a corps of clever musicians, vocal and instrumental, and so actually combines two shows m one, much to the satisfaction of the visitor, and doubtless equally so to the entreprer neur. The Brescians and Mr West have now been, associated for some years m all parts of the world and it is a judicious.% combine that always succeeds. Tfiey commence their return season at the Town Hall, Wellington, to-night, Saturday, the' 22nd inst., and it is safe' to bet the big auditorium will be crowded.
