The celebrated Te.Momi Estate; adjoinmo- the Lower Hutt Railway Station, will be sold by public auction by Messrs Dwan Bros., m the Town Hall, Wellington, on Wednesday evenine 12th December. 1906, at 8 p.m. There is no need to say that the Hutt will go ahead, v the present train service is proof positive of the advance made m the Lower Hutt district m recent years. The Government has had to increase the number of trains to oope with the passenger traffic until we find there are no less than 21 trains running daily to and from the Hutt, with bxtra trains on Wednesdays and Saturdays, to say nothing of the Sunday trains, -which carry thousands of city people to this delightful suburb, who thoroughly enjoy a breath of fresh air , after bein- shut up m the crowded city all the week. The Government still find it necessary to further provide for a fast express service to the Hutt by laying a double line of rails, so that m the near future there will not only be an , increase m the number of trains runninip- but also an increase m the speed ; it is expected to be able to cover the distance from Wellington to the Hutt m 15 minutes. Workers' weekly railway tickets, only 2s for twelve rides. Terms : 5 per oent. deposit, 5 per cent! m three months, 10 per cent, m 12 months, balance five years at 5k per cent. To purchasers erecting an approved building within 12 months, 90 per cent, of purchase money can remain on mortgage.
