THE TUNNEL TROUBLE.
The strike of "the timber-men . and miners, • employed on the Kilbirnie tunnel, came to a termination yectterday, when Contractor Maguire agreed to the men's demands.. The terms of the settlement are that one man on each timber shift is to receive 10s per day, and his laborer 9s. The demand of the miners for a working week of 46 hours was also' agreed to".
