Regarding Hydrant's running at Rosehill on Saturday week Sydney "Sportsman" has this to. say: "New Zealand jumpers, taking them all round, are much superior to those of this State, consequently when Hydrant appeared amongst the list of starters m the- Hurdle Race at Rosehill on Saturday, punters got their bit on.
