GIANT PARACHUTE
TO SUPPORT AN AIRPLANE Australian and N Z. Cable Association, PARIS, December 5. An inventor. M. Robert, who, since 1898. has been working on aeronautical development, is planning a giant lifebuoy parachute, with a carrying surface of 500 square metres, capable of supporting an entire airplane. Tt would he attached to the fuseltyze with metal work, as a precaution against fire, hut the passengers would also he provided with parachutes.
