ORDERED FOR BRITISH NAVY TO COST" £3.000,000. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON. December 6. The “Star” states that the Government has ordered six submarines, at a cost of £3,000,000. Three will be built by Vickers at Barrow, two by Beardmores at Glasgow, and one hv a Government dockyard.
