ELDERLY FARMER. » Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 6. The body found with a gun alongside in an old gumfield near Milford on Friday has been identified,, as that of Charles Robert Hewett, 63 years of age, of Cambridge. A son of deceased in evidence, said that the last time he saw his father alive was on September 30th, and he was then in financial difficulties over a farm which he abandoned to the mortgagees. The inquest was adjourned.
