“NO OVERTIME” STRIKE

COAL LUMPERS STAND OUT WATERSIDERS REBUFFED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. SYDNEY, December 6. The Coal Lumpers’ Union at a special meeting decided not to cease work in support of the watersiders’ “no overtime” strike until instructed by the union officials to do so. This is the second rebuff received by the watersiders during the past week. It is known that a number of other maritime unions, including the stewards and marine cooks, bakers, ’and butchers, support the stand taken by the seamen and ’ lumpers. Notwithstanding this opposition the watersiders seem determined to continue the" strike.
