Carisbrook continuing their first itfnings against Grange made 230 for nine wickets declared (Blunt 102). Grange, made 88 in the first innings and had lost six wickets for 160 at the call of time (AUoo 79 not out). A two-point win for Caris- !•; . Dunedin-Albion match was tlruv. Albion, in the first innings made IS3, Dunedin, in the first 55, and in the second 198 for six wickets (McGregor 60, Cavnnagh 27, Torrence 25). JUNIOR C Kilbirnie playing Y.M.C.A. secured 44, and 5 for 68. Y.M.C.A. got 71 and 33—a four-point win for Kilbirnie. JUNIOR A Thorndon 174 (Tilyard 74) Bowling: Trate 5 for 62, Dormer 3 for 45, Clouston ,2 for 44. University 117 (Arndt 64 not out, Childs 15, Hughes 11). Bowling: Martin secured five wickets. THIRD A Khandallah beat Eastbourne; 3-poir.t win. Khandallah (Gentry 134 not out, Spier 72. Bowling: Venn 7 for 35, Baker also bowled well. THIRD B Kilbirnie “A” secured a three-point win over Y.M.C.A. “A” team. Kilbirnie 336 (Perkins 53, Houston 36, Duncan 34, Hepburn 28, Tucker 20). Y.M.C.A. 153 (J. Peddie 46, R. Matthew 39, H. Mr«'':thew 22). Bowling: Kilbirnie, Hepburn 9 for 43; Y.M.C.A., Gaudin 5 for 16.
