The Union Company have been advised by cable that the intercolonial passenger steamer Maung’anui left Sydney at 5 p.m. on Friday for AVellington, where she is due to-morrow morning. From Dunedin the vessel proceeds to the Pacific Coast to load again for New Zealand, PORT SYDNEY FROM NEW YORK. . . TBKOA'S VOYAGE. Arriving at Auckland from Homo port-s on Thursday evening, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Tekoa anchored in the stream for the night. The Tekoa commenced loading at Newport (Monmouthshire) and filled up nt Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool. Final departure was taken from tho lastnamed port on October 24th, and the vessel experienced strong south-west winds and rough seas for the first five days at sea. The weather then improver!, and the remainder of tho run to Curacao, where tho Tekoa replenished her oil supply, was made without incident. The Tekoa left Cumene* on November 7th, and reached Colon two days later. Transit through the Panama Canal was obtained on the following day. WAITEMATaT TO COMPLETE. To complete her discharge of Pacific Coast cargo, the Union Company's cargo steamer Waitemata arrived at Wellington yesterday from New Plymouth. TAINUI SAILS. Shortly after 11 a.m, the Shaw, Saviil and Albion liner Tainui left Wellington for Napier and Auckland to complete, loading for Home. She is scheduled to clear Auckland finally on December 15th for Southampton and London, via Panama. RUAHINE DEPARTS. Loaded with Dominion produce, the N.Z.
