ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF COUNCIL The first election cf the members of the Council of the New Zealand University will be held soon after the Amendment Act, 1920, comes into force on January Ist next. An election of five members of the council by the General Court of Convocation will bo held in January. An official notification of the fact will be given by advertisement early in that month, but the following information should be cf interest to the graduates: Nominations will close at 5 p.m. on January 10th, 1027. with the Registrar of the University of New Zealand, the returning officer. Nomination forms, which will bo obtainable from the University office, must l>e signed by the nominator and must .nlso hear the consent of the candidate in writing. As soon as possible after the closing of nominations vot-ing-papers will be posted to members of convocation, a toll of which is now brine: made up: these paners will he returnable to the University office before o p.m. on .Tnminrv 21st next.
