At tho first meeting of creditors in tho cst.ato of Herbert Harold McNelly, garage proprietor, of Upper Hutt, ■which was held in Wellington on Thursday, tho Official Assignee (Mr S. Tansle.y) referred to the fact that tho bankrupt had only been in business for four months. Mr AlcNclly explained to a “Time*” reporter yesterday that tho Official Assignee's remark was prompted by the fact that his account with tho National Bank had only run for four months. As a matter of fact he had been in business ns a garage proprietor at Upper Hutt for ton months.
