SHIPPING WEEK-END EXCURSIONS. TO THE MARLBOROUGH SOUNDS. rn-HE first. Week-end Excursion this season to the Marlborough Sounds will be made by the Tamaliine on SATURDAY NEXT. Taking her departure from Wellington} at 1.15 p.m., in a couple of horn’s she will be across the Strait in Tory Channel, and will berth at Picton about 4.30 p.m. A dance will be held on deck there in the evening, and early next morning tho Tamaliine will leave for Tennyson Inlet, the finest part of Pelorus Sound, anchoring there by breakfast time. The morning will be spent in boating, fishing, bathing, and picnicking among the beauties of the great reserves which surround tho Inlet. After calling at Picton on the way back the Tamaliine should arrive in Wellington again a little after 9 in the evening.
