ASSIGNMENT ORDERS
N.Z. DAIRY PRODUCE BOARD. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has already intimated its willingness to assist in meeting reclamations to London merchants by accopting orders from dairy companies to pay certain amounts out of advances which may come due to them. In order that such assignment orders may be regular and uniform the board has had drawn up a form of order to meet three contingencies:—l. Where a definite amount is' owing and it is desired to pay same; 2. Where the final amount owing is not definitely known, but where the board is desired to pay up to a specified amount on account; 3. Where the final amount owing is not definitely known, but where it is not desired to specify an amount. In all cases the method of payment is by a deduction from shipping advances of eo much per lb. CUSTOMS REVENUE. The Customs revenue received at the port of Wellington yesterday aggregated £4783.
