CONSERVATIVES HOLD SEAT. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. LONDON, December 1. The Chelmsford by-election, arising from Sir Henry Curtis-Bennett’s resignation; resulted: C. *K. Howard (Con.) 13,395 S. W. Robinson (Lib.) 8,435 N. H. Moller (Lab.) 4,960 At the General Election Sir H. Cus-tis-Bennott was returned with 15.875 votes, ”S. W. Robinson polling 10,244, and N, H, Muller 2904. ~
