WATERSIDERS FALL OUT
ONE WOUNDED IN HIP QUARREL ON WATERFRONT. 1W Press A<KSocint*on AUCKLAND, December 2. As the result of a dispute between two watersiders at 8 o’clock this morning, George Cargill was sent to the hospital, and Joseph Andre was imprisoned, and will appear at the Magistrate’s Court to-morrow on a charge of assault. They quarrelled last night, but turned up as usual to seek work. Andre, who is a negro, was chipping a piece of wood with a penknife in the pursuit of his hobby of making small wooden boats for insertion in bottles. Cargill, a well-known footballer, went into the shed and a scuffle began. When they were separated Cargill had a two-inch wdund in hi hip.
