BOXER INJURED
CONTEST POSTPONED. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, December 2. Dick 'Vercoe, who was scheduled to meet Roy Overend next Saturday in a professional ten-xound bout, met with au accident yesterday. His hand was caught in the belt of a machine, where he was employed, causing painful injuries to bis thumb. The match is therefore indefinitely postponed.
