YESTERDAY’S CASES Air E. Page, S.M., presided a* the Magistrate’s Court yesterday when the following cases were dealt with: One first offending inebriate was convicted and discharged, and one was fined the amount of his bail 10s. Hong Choc, a Chinese, aged 26, was remanded to next Tuesday on a charge of having stowed away at Papeete on the R.M.S. Tahiti. William Arthur Murphy, a driver, aged 36, who was charged with having committed theft by failing to account for and pay to Walter Buchanan and Co., bakers, of Auckland, £2 16s od. collected by him on the firm’s behalf, was remanded to appear at Auckland on December 3rd.
