ROSENEATH’S AIMS
PROGRESSIVE ASSOCIATION MEET. A meeting of tlio Roseneath Progressive Association was held in the Roseneath school last nigbt( Mr Ferguson (cting-secretary) presiding in place of Sir W. Smith, who was indisposed. , It was decided to write to the City Council regarding the bad state of Palliser road, and the danger lo pedestrians there owing, to tho lack of a footpath. It was also decided to ask the council to construct steps from Palliser road to Grafton road. A letter is to be sent to the council asking that the ’bus servico between Roseneath and the city be extended to run between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. and If) p.m. and 11 p.m., and that the Sunday service be resumed during the summer months. Mr R. W. Burridge was welcomed back after his visit to Europe. The resignation of Mr \v. Smith, the secretary, was accepted, and a letter was sent to him wishing him a speedy recovery from his illness.
