Soumaras, who had applied for a discharge from bankruptcy at a previous sitting of the court, appeared on this occasion in connection with the application, made under section 62 of the Bankruptcy Act, for an order for payment of money towards the discharge of his debts. The bankrupt-, in a statement, claimed that pressure by certain creditors had caused the restaurant businesses to be sold at a loss. The bankrupt’s total debts amounted to £llOO, and tho judge ordered him to pay £1 a week to the Official Assignee until he had paid a sum sufficient to satisfy all preferential claims and pay a dividend of os in the £ to ordinary creditors. The application for discharge was adjourned until Soumaras complied with the order.
