Bethune and Co.’s auction rooms on Wednesday last when they submitted properties at auction on behalf of the Public Trustee. No. 31, Jefferson street, Brooklyn, land 21ft K)in x 13oft, and a 4-rocmed house was sold to Airs Mary Townsend lor £7.V). No. f>, Earl’s terrace, Mount Victoria, land 27ft x G3ft and 4.-roomed house, to Mr A. E. Roberts for £9OO. Although there was good bidding for the remaining properlios none of the bids quite reached the reserve, and they are now in the hands of the auctioneers for private sale.
