Money will only bo raised as works proceed—interest only paid from date of receipt of loan money. On March 31st. 1925, there were 1356 consumers; on March 31st this year there were 3892. To-day there are over 5200. Over 200 applications for "permits'” were received last month. The receipts for current were estimated at £39.500 for 1926-27. So far the actual receipts indicate a revenue of over £50,000. The number of "units” sold April to September, 192 C, is 102 per cent, greater than those sold April to September, 1925. The Hutt Valley Power Board lias reached third place among power boards without collecting a rate —the two ahead of Hutt Valley in number of consumers collected rates last year. Hutt Valley is 15s per consumer better off this year than last year. VOTE FOR THE LOAN AND MAKE IT BETTER STILL. For convenience of workers in town, there are Booths at Hutt County Office, CS.
