THURSDAY'S TOURNAMENT The Wellington Boxing Association conclude their season lor this yenr tomorrow night when Charlie Purdy, the Auckland lightweight, will meet Bert McCarthy, of Melbourne, in a filteen rounds contest, ft is certain that there will be a crowded house to witness this contest in view of the excellent display McCarthy gave in his recent defeat of Janiito, which was. generally couceded as being one of the finest contests ever seen locally.
