LATER CARS
MATTER BEFORE COUNCIL. The question of a later car for the suburbs not fortunate enough to bo the site of a car-barn was raised by a deputation from the Civic League to the tramways committee cf the City Council yesterday. To a question by the Mayor (Mr C. J. B. Norwood) it was replied that the suburbs affected would be Brooklyn, Island Bay, Seatoun, Karori, and Wadestown. Consideration of the matter was promised.
