VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting* of the W clington City Council held on THURSDAY, November 18th, 1926. the followng resolution was passed:— Tho Wellington City Council pursuant o the provisions of the Local Bodies Anns Act. 1926, and its Amendments, he Municipal Corporations Act. 1920, nd its Amendments, and the Health ict, 1920, and its Amendments, and in ►ursnance of all other Acts and powers if any) it enabling in that behalf doth ereby resolve by war of Special Order .... 1. That a Special Loan of thirty-six thousand one hundred pounds <«£36.100) to bo known as "The Wellington City (Karori and Onslow Districts) Completion Loan. 1926” be raised by tho Wellington City Council for the purpose of providing within its districts the following sanitary works, that is to say . (1) The completion of the drainage of the Karori District being that portion of the City of Wellington that was comprised in the Borough of Karori on the Ist day of January, 1920: and (2) The completion of the drainage of the Onslow District being that portion of the City of Wellington that was comprised in the Borough of Onslow on the Ist day of January, 1919, the amount of nine thousand eight hundred pounds (,£9800) being authorised to he borrowed b.y the said Council under the provisions of Section 19 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and tho balance of Twenty-six thousand three hundred pounds (,£26,300) being authorised to be borrowed hv a requisition of the Board of Health under Section 22 of the Health Act, 1929, dated the 12th clay of November, .1926. 2. That the interest on the said Loan be at a rate not exceeding Five pounds ton shillings («£5 10s) per centum per annum payable half-yearly during the currency of the said Loan being a period not exceeding five and a- half years from the Ist day of February 1927. 3. That a Sinking Fund of One Pound (.£1) per centum per annum be established in connection with the said Loan. 4. That the security for the interest, sinking fund and other charges and repayment of the said Loan be a Special Rate on the unimproved value of all ratable property in the City of Wellington so calculated as to yield the interest and sinking fund and other charges of the said Loan and 10 per cent, additional on these amounts. /5. That three hundred and sixty-one (361) debentures each for One hundred pounds (J 2100) and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, be executed, sealed and issued. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 16th December. 1926. at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba street, Wellington, at S p.m. Dated this 22nd day of November, 1926.
