(By “Carbine.") PALMERSTON N.. November 29. There has been heavy rain in the Manawatu and it is almost certain the course will be very heavy to-morrow. Bisox, Flying Shot and Lady Killer have been scratched from the Kowhai Park Handicap. Strive has been taken out of the Aorangi Trial Plate. Scratchings from th© Fitzroy Handicap are Beth and Hymestrason. The Hawk, Mimetic, Decoy Bird, Bennanee and Nine of Spades were walked over from Wootfville and joined a special train from Ashhurst and proceeded to Feilding.
