The danger of the consumption of acid liquids which have boon drawn through lead pipes, has been brought to tho notice of tho Hackney Public Health Committee, who have warned local vendors of lemonade that the use of load s.yphons must be discontinued or legal prosecution will follow. This warning lias resulted from tho medical officer’s report that a sampio of lemonade when examined was found to contain .6 grains per gallon of lead.
